How to Treat “Backne”

September 24th, 2007 by Jennifer Larson

skin care productsOk, here’s an issue many of us suffer from but rarely talk about; back acne, or “backne” as it is commonly called. Gross I know, but it happens nonetheless. While it is more common in men than women, the fairer sex gets it too. This annoying condition does nothing to improve our skin care beauty, that’s for sure: And it’s difficult to get skin care products back there, unless you are lucky enough to have a loved one willing to help out. There are beauty products that can help, but one of the best things you can do is to never let perspiration – on your back – dry.

The same thing as acne causes Backne, which is excess oil that clogs our skin’s pores causing bacteria to form and create an infection. So, not only do those nasty little buggers hamper our skin care beauty, they can lead to serious medical problems to your skin as well. Beauty products and other skin care products like exfoliants, toners and restoring lotions can be very effective in keeping the area clean, but a good old-fashioned shower works best.

If you find yourself sweating, jump into a shower and immediately rinse it off, before the perspiration has a chance to dry. This can help your skin care beauty by preventing backne altogether, but if you are already affected, there are ways to treat it. Start off by purchasing skin care products like a back scrubber, mild cleanser and ointment. These beauty products are easy to find and very affordable. After stepping out of the shower, dry thoroughly and apply the ointment over the backne.

I am the last one to admit to having backne, but I won’t let that stop me from improving my skin care beauty. Just remember, with the proper skin care products and beauty products, you don’t have to suffer from it either.
